developing on the historic beaches of east boston an installation that recognizes and reacts to the tidal flux associated with typical ocean currents.

development began as an introduction to ocean systems, building upon typical revetment rock formation which seem so common along the coast line of the north east.  the revetment expanded and became an idea from which an installation could be developed by mirroring the forces of the water back onto the site.  this design recognizes the tidal flux and grading condition by becoming one with the coastline, submerging itself into the water and the ground.
